Scientists from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) have developed a chip that can tell if
a person has a healthy immune system within minutes, using just a drop of blood. Dubbed a
"lab-on-a-chip", it could help doctors spot early signs of inflammation and infection in patients
in future. Assistant Professors Hou Han Wei and Holden Li were in the studio to explain how
the chip works, and how it can be used to help patients who suffer from diseases like diabetes.
