During a radio interview with CNA938 on Sept 27, Singapore's Acting Prime Minister
Heng Swee Keat said the government is watching closely how the economy will pan out
by end-2019. He said it is prepared to take action when needed. Mr Heng was responding to figures showing that Singapore's manufacturing output had fallen 8% year-on-year in August.
