Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong spoke at the UN General Assembly in New York
on Sept 27. It was his first time attending the debate since becoming prime minister in 2004.
In his address, Mr Lee's urged world leaders not to let up on multilateralism or abandon
its institutions. He added that for small states like Singapore, multilateralism is critical
for their survival, since it gives them a platform to make their voices heard on global affairs.
